Hello 👋
I’m Hiroshi Kawana, a certified administrative scrivener 🙇♂️
🍁 November has arrived, and 2025 has only two months left 🗓️
When a new year begins, it’s easy to accidentally write the previous one…💦
I’m sure many of us wrote “2024” at the start of this year 😅
And now, 2025 is almost over.
✨Let’s make the most of these last two months✨ to prepare for a better 2026! 💪🌈
⚖️ What Is “Overstay”?
This refers to what most people call overstaying a visa 🚫✈️
In short —
🛂 you entered Japan with a valid status of residence,
but later failed to renew it and stayed beyond the authorized period.
❓ A Common Misunderstanding
For example:
📅 Your residence status expires on November 15
📄 You submit your renewal application on October 15
If your result hasn’t come out by November 15,
many people worry — “Will I be overstaying from November 16!?” 😨
But actually, no 🙅♂️
In this case, there’s a special two-month grace period —
until January 15 — while your application is being reviewed.
And unless there’s an exceptional issue,
you’ll receive your result before that date ✅
😔 The Reality
Unfortunately, there are still many people in Japan who are overstaying.
Even more regrettably, some of them are highly skilled individuals 💔
📜 The law must be followed, regardless of the circumstances.
That’s how trust in society is built 🤝
🕊️ If You’re Overstaying Now
Please report yourself to the Immigration Bureau 🏛️
Then, come back to Japan again — this time through proper procedures 🇯🇵
When you return, make full use of your talents 💪🌍
It will be for your own good — and for Japan’s future 🌸
See you again soon 👋✨
